How Much Do Streaming Services Cost in 2026? Full Price List

How much do streaming services cost in 2026? Almost every major service has raised prices in the past year, and most now push you toward an ad-supported plan, so the number on the signup page is rarely the whole story. This list puts the current US price of each major service in one place, along with bundles, ad-free costs, and a few ways to pay less.

I’ve covered most of these in detail in my individual reviews, so each section below links to the full breakdown. This is a research-based price guide rather than a record of personal use.

This is part of my ongoing series reviewing subscriptions and software to help you figure out what’s worth paying for.

Prices last updated October 18, 2026, before taxes. Streaming prices change often, so double-check the service’s own page before you subscribe.

How Much Do Streaming Services Cost? The Price List

ServiceCheapest PlanAd-Free or Top Plan
Netflix$8.99/month (with ads)$19.99 (Standard), $26.99 (Premium, 4K)
Disney+$12.49/month (with ads)$21.49 (Premium)
Hulu$12.49/month (with ads)$21.49 (Premium)
HBO Max$10.99/month (with ads)$18.49 (Standard), $22.99 (Premium, 4K)
Peacock$8.99/month (Select)$12.99 (Premium), $19.99 (Premium Plus)
Paramount+$8.99/month (Essential)$13.99 (Premium)
Apple TV$14.99/monthNo ad-supported tier
Prime Video$8.99/month (with ads)About $4.99/month extra for ad-free

Three things to know about this table:

  • Hulu is changing. Disney has said it plans to fold Hulu into the Disney+ app, so Hulu’s standalone pricing and plans may shift.
  • Peacock’s plans differ in content, not just ads. The cheapest tier, Select, leaves out movies and live sports.
  • Prime Video is also included with Amazon Prime, which costs $14.99/month or $139/year. Sources disagree on the exact ad-free add-on price, so check Amazon before relying on it.

For the details behind each price, see my reviews of Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount+, and Amazon Prime.

Streaming Bundles That Can Lower the Price

Bundles are often the cheapest way to get more than one service:

  • Disney+ and Hulu: $12.99/month with ads, or $21.99 ad-free. Disney has also run promotional pricing for new subscribers, so check the signup page.
  • Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max: $19.99/month with ads, or $32.99 ad-free
  • Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN: $35.99/month
  • Apple One: bundles Apple TV with Apple Music and storage. See my Apple One breakdown.
  • Walmart+: includes a free Paramount+ or Peacock subscription. See my Walmart+ review.

The ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu bundle costs about the same as a single standalone plan, which is why it’s usually the first bundle worth checking.

What Would It Cost to Subscribe to All of Them?

How much do streaming services cost if you keep all of them? It depends heavily on whether you accept ads. These totals are my own arithmetic from the prices above, before taxes, and they use the Disney+ and Hulu bundle instead of paying for each separately.

  • Cheapest plan on every service (Netflix, the Disney+/Hulu bundle, HBO Max, Peacock Select, Paramount+ Essential, Apple TV, Prime Video): about $74.93/month, or roughly $899 a year
  • Ad-free or top plan on every service (Netflix Premium, the Disney+/Hulu ad-free bundle, HBO Max Premium, Peacock Premium Plus, Paramount+ Premium, Apple TV, Prime Video with the ad-free add-on): about $135/month, or roughly $1,619 a year
  • Just three services (Netflix with ads, HBO Max with ads, and the Disney+/Hulu bundle): about $32.97/month, or roughly $396 a year

The gap between the first and last lines is the main reason a regular subscription audit pays off.

How to Pay Less for Streaming

  • Choose the ad-supported plan if you can tolerate ads. It’s the biggest single saving on most services.
  • Pay annually where it’s offered. Peacock Premium is $129.99/year instead of $155.88 paid monthly, Paramount+ Essential is $89.99/year, and HBO Max Basic with Ads is $109.99/year, which saves about $21.
  • Rotate services. Subscribe for a season or a show, then cancel. Most services let you cancel anytime.
  • Check perks you already have. Walmart+, some credit cards, and mobile plans sometimes include a streaming subscription.
  • Track your recurring charges. My subscription tracking apps guide covers tools that flag forgotten subscriptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do streaming services cost per month in 2026? A single ad-supported plan runs about $9 to $13 a month, an ad-free plan about $14 to $27, and keeping every major service on an ad-free plan adds up to well over $100 a month.

What’s the cheapest streaming service? Netflix with ads, Peacock Select, Paramount+ Essential, and Prime Video with ads all start at $8.99/month. Which one gives you the best value depends on what you watch, so check the reviews linked above.

Is it cheaper to bundle streaming services? Often, yes. The Disney+ and Hulu bundle is priced close to a single service, and adding HBO Max to it costs less than buying the three separately.

Which streaming services have no ads? Apple TV has no ad-supported tier. The others offer ad-free plans at higher prices, though live sports and some on-demand content can still carry ads on certain tiers.

Does annual billing save money on streaming? On the services that offer it, such as Peacock, Paramount+, and HBO Max, yes. It usually works out to roughly two months free.

Final Verdict

How much do streaming services cost in 2026? Between $9 and $27 a month per service, with ad-free plans costing roughly double the cheapest options, and a full lineup running well over $100 a month. The most effective ways to cut that bill are choosing ad-supported plans, using bundles, paying annually, and rotating services instead of keeping all of them running.
