Is Apple One Worth It in 2026?

Is Apple One worth it in 2026? The answer depends on a simple piece of math: does the bundle cost less than the Apple services you’d pay for separately anyway? After Apple’s July price increase on Apple Music and a further increase on Apple TV, that math has shifted, and it’s worth redoing.

This is based on published pricing rather than personal use, and Apple’s numbers have moved a few times this year, so double-check them on Apple’s site before subscribing. It connects to several other reviews on this site, including my Spotify vs Apple Music comparison and my streaming service comparison.

This is part of my ongoing series reviewing subscriptions and software to help you figure out what’s worth paying for.

Note: Apple One pricing has changed several times in 2026, and sources disagree on the latest figures. Double-check current pricing directly on apple.com/apple-one before subscribing.

Apple One Pricing in 2026

Apple One comes in three US tiers, all with a free one-month trial:

  • Individual: $21.95/month per Apple’s current page (some July coverage listed $19.95, so verify), includes Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud+ storage
  • Family: $27.95/month, includes the same services plus 200GB of iCloud+ storage, shareable with up to five other people
  • Premier: $39.95/month, adds Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud+ storage, also shareable with up to five other people

Family and Premier both rose by about $2 after the Apple Music price increase, and Individual’s price has been reported differently depending on when the source was written.

Is Apple One Worth It? The Bundle Math

Here’s the comparison using recent published standalone prices, before taxes:

  • Apple Music Individual: $11.99/month after the July 2026 increase
  • Apple Music Family: $19.99/month
  • Apple TV: $12.99/month at last report, with more recent coverage saying it rose again to $14.99

For the Individual tier, Apple Music plus Apple TV alone comes to roughly $25-27/month, which already exceeds the bundle price before you count Apple Arcade or iCloud+ storage. For the Family tier, Apple Music Family plus Apple TV comes to roughly $33-35/month against a $27.95 bundle. In both cases, the bundle wins as long as you’d genuinely use both Apple Music and Apple TV.

The savings shrink or disappear if you’d only use one of the services. Paying for a bundle where you’d only ever touch a third of it isn’t a saving.

Who Apple One Is Worth It For

Is Apple One worth it for your household? It tends to pay off for:

  • People who’d pay for both Apple Music and Apple TV anyway, since those two alone cover most of the bundle price
  • Households that use Apple’s ecosystem heavily and would use the extra iCloud+ storage
  • Families of several people, because Family and Premier let up to six people share the services

Who Should Skip It

  • Spotify or YouTube Music users, who wouldn’t use Apple Music and lose the biggest piece of the bundle’s value
  • People who only want one Apple service, where paying for that one directly is cheaper
  • Anyone not using Apple TV, which is a big part of what makes the bundle worthwhile. If you’re weighing it against other services, see how it stacks up in my streaming comparison

Is Premier Worth the Jump?

Premier costs about $12 more per month than Family, and Apple names Fitness+ specifically as part of that step, alongside Apple News+ and 2TB of iCloud+ storage. It only makes sense if your household genuinely uses News+, Fitness+, or that much shared storage. Family and Premier storage is a shared pool for the whole group, not a separate allotment per person.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Apple One cost in 2026? Is Apple One worth it at the current price? Individual is $21.95/month per Apple’s current page, Family is $27.95, and Premier is $39.95. Earlier July coverage listed Individual at $19.95, so confirm the current price when you sign up.

Is Apple One cheaper than subscribing separately? Usually, if you’d use at least Apple Music and Apple TV. The savings drop quickly if you’d only use one included service.

Can I share Apple One with my family? Yes, on Family and Premier, you can share with up to five other people through Family Sharing. It isn’t automatic, so you have to set it up.

Does Apple One include Apple Arcade? Yes, all three tiers include Apple Arcade, along with Apple Music, Apple TV, and iCloud+ storage.

Is there a free trial? Apple offers a free one-month trial on all three tiers, so you can test the bundle before committing.

Final Verdict

Is Apple One worth it in 2026? For anyone who’d pay for both Apple Music and Apple TV, yes, the bundle math still favors it, even after the price increases. For people who’d only use one Apple service, or who prefer Spotify or another music app, paying for what you use separately is usually the better move.

The easiest way to decide is to add up what you’d actually pay for these services on their own and compare it to the bundle. Since there’s a free trial and you can cancel anytime, it’s low-risk to test, and it’s worth adding to your regular subscription audit.

My rating: 4.1/5, strong value for people who’d use Apple Music and Apple TV, weaker if you’d only use one service
